When budgeting for your wedding, stationery is one item that you may not think of but can make quite an impact on your big day.
It is those little things that can make a big difference, from a bespoke monogram of you and your betrothed initials, decorated with flowers or other items such as wax seals, handwritten place cards – there really is a plethora of ways that calligraphy can be incorporated into your big day.

From monograms, wax seals, handwritten place cards – to a meaningful quote on a mirror or in a frame for loved ones that couldn’t be there on the day.
Also, sometimes the favour ideas and order of services can come into their own and offer your own stamp on things or be those little keepsakes that can last for many years to come or give your guests the perfect memento.
For my husband and I, his profession is a tree surgeon, so inevitably, we wanted to have a tree-related table plan. Each table was named after a tree and their meaning shown as part of the display.
Continuing along with the ‘wood’ theme, we painted the table names onto wooden chip baskets, lovingly made by my Dad and our florist Karen at Little Torteval Flower Company used to create these amazing centrepieces. We were so pleased with the result, but loved the fact that we could include a little bit of us into our big day.
