The beauty of mixing watercolour and calligraphy is you can often come up with your own unique ‘stamp’ for your big day. As you may have read on my About page, when looking for the perfect suite for our wedding, we found it difficult to find something that would fit the bill.
So I set to task and created the above invitation suite, making use of our own personal hand-drawn crest. The invitation suite included a watercolour wedding map, pale grey envelopes and gold calligraphy addressing. At the time, I was not as confident writing all the place cards (this has since changed!) so we used the font wherever we could, including on our centrepieces, created by my Dad and echoing the chip baskets they used to have on their favourite beach.
We even re-created our marriage certificate to incorporate the fern and foliage border and crest.
Once we had those key adaptable and digital elements, the rest was designed by me and adapted to fit in with the foliage and fern theme.

If you’d like to create a consistent ‘branded’ wedding day experience, I will shortly be uploading new samples soon, but to book a meeting to discuss get in touch below.
