Hi. I’m Adie. Adrienne Dawn is my wedding stationery brand that encompasses all things calligraphy and crafty. From a very early age, I’ve shown an interest in design and could always be found drawing, writing and cutting and sticking from various papers. One of my favourite past times was making Christmas, Birthday and other cards for family and friends – this is when my love of all things paper was born.

Later on, I studied Art & Design in Canterbury and moved to Brighton to study English Literature and Philosophy, although I always found a creative outlet which included co-editing and designing the Sussex University magazine. Since then, I’ve spent the last 5 years working in the Creative Industry as an Account Director and learning about all things branding. But it was in 2017 when I was looking for the ‘perfect’ stationery suite for our wedding I saw some designs out there locally and online that were beautifully made, but didn’t quite fit the look and feel I had in mind. So I took it upon myself to use my design skills to tailor a suite that reflected us as a couple, and also put to use my newest passion for calligraphy.

I’ve been a calligrapher for four years now and LOVE everything about the craft and am drawn to a life where I can create something every day.

Some people ask the question if you could do anything and money was no object, what would you do? I’d create. What’s better, is I truly love helping people and what better way to help them, using my passion and skills to design something that you will love and cherish.
